His illustrations are quirky, personality-filled and celebrate aspects of everyday life. The work often pulls from imagery of Americana, from classic sci-fi movies to architecture, history, and aspects of rural life.
Tracy Hayes is a NH-based mixed media artist. Her work starts with variations of a single mark, and evolves from there with added paint, charcoal, ink, graphite and other media. As the paintings take shape as marks are added, blurred, or removed, the work becomes otherworldly, vaguely subterranean spaces and forms.
