We are inviting all artists to participate in AVA’s 50th Anniversary Benefit: Bloom! Exhibition and Live + Silent Auction which will be featured in our named galleries. Dustan Knight is a NH-based painter, educator, and writer. The artist's most recent work uses assemblage in wood which is then painted and worked as a collaged image. Knight's expressive, active abstract work embraces a wide range of media. Paint is often dripped, poured, and splattered to create engaging surfaces. Her paintings are informed by personal experiences with nature. The artist creates sketches outdoors that are brought into the studio to work from, and often reference landscape, seasonality and foliage.
