Works in Clay
Join us in a discussion and a tour of new spaces in New Hampshire, as well as a preview of the current exhibition at AVA Gallery. We're excited to be joined by Amy Raegan of Rochester Museum of Fine Arts and SEE/SAW Gallery, as well as Fallon Rae of PILLAR Gallery + Projects to discuss the landscape of the NH art and artists, and how they've created spaces for artists. They'll be onsite to give a tour of the current exhibitions, and discuss the artists included, as well as the gallery process for artists, and how galleries and nonprofits have adapted over the years.
Join us in an interactive online tour of the multiple exhibitions currently on view at AVA Gallery. These include solo exhibitions by Cheryl Betz, Rachel Gross, and Mary Mead, a ceramics exhibition Works in Clay with works by Jihye Han, Yeonsoo Kim, Jenny Swanson, and Multitudes, an exhibition of work by Joan Feierabend.
Alex Leith is a NH-based painter. He focuses on exploring relationships between texture, color, shape, and mark making to find luminous movement. Frantic yet passionate color choices flourish throughout pieces yet a congruous sense of consideration can be found in surface qualities.
