Olivia Janna Genereaux is a VT-based painter and educator. Genereaux's watercolors, drawings and oil paintings are active, wonderfully surreal and evocative in their moods and narratives. Often, objects are anthropomorphized and placed in colorful spaces. The works celebrate color, mark-making, and are lively in their vibrancy. The artist will be demonstrating her process from her studio in White River Junction.

Muralist and designer Mike Durkee (a.k.a. Durk McGurk) will be discussing his process, specifically pulling from images sources for complex collage works. The artist will discuss his mixed media practice which combines hand drawn, vintage style text, cultural references, and cartoons with images sourced from vintage books.
