Harrison Halaska: From Life

Harrison Halaska received his Masters of Fine Arts from the Laguna College of Art and Design in 2018. His focus has been painting still lifes, landscapes, and portraits from life. He is engaged by the uncovering and discovery of his environment through painting. The artist works almost exclusively from life, and will be demonstrating his process and approach to direct painting from obversation.

Cecelia Kane: The Act of Making

Multi-disciplinary artist Cecelia Kane will be demonstrating the process behind her latest series "How am I feeling today" which involves a range of processes including drawing with embroidery, laser printing and mixed media on vintage hankerchiefs. She will be also be discussing her large-scale public art installations and the drawings and paintings that are tethered to them. The demo and discussion will be live from the artist's studio.
