Jozimar Matimano: Contemporary Matters
Jozimar Matimano is NH-based painter born in the East Democratic Republic of Congo, Butembo. His gripping paintings depict contemporarily-relevant matters using a traditional approach to oil painting. Martimano is currently an artist resident at Kimball Jenkins, and will discuss and demonstrate the process behind his latest body of work, and the body of work he is building as part of the residency.
