An Evening of Visual Storytelling

An effective way for artists to share new work with an audience
An Evening of Visual Storytelling | Pecha Kucha at AVA

Originating in Tokyo, Pecha Kucha, or “chit-chat”, is a unique presentation format used around the world. Presenters share a story of ideas using 20 slides, each displayed for 20 seconds, for a total presentation of 6 minutes and 40 seconds per artist. The concise format encourages presenters to be brief yet creative, relying on powerful images and visual storytelling. It is an effective way for artists to share new work with an audience and receive feedback in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.
