Nate Twombly is a NH-based illustrator and interdisciplinary artist. His illustrations capture the quaint and playful details of New England. His illustrations are quirky, personality-filled and celebrate aspects of everyday life. The work often pulls from imagery of Americana, from classic sci-fi movies to architecture, history, and aspects of rural life.
Twombly has exhibited or collaborated with the Newport Folk Festival, Arts on The Green, Kelley Stelling Contemporary Gallery, Kimball Jenkins School of Art, Launch F18, the Deerfield Fair and other clients and galleries. The artist has worked in a range of media in his practice, including pen and ink, watercolor mixed media and recently digital illustration. The artist will be demonstrating his approach to working an image digitally, and also discussing the benefits of digital illustration.
