Seth will present Black and White Photography
Bio and Topic Info:
“I have been photographing seriously for about 10 years. I do a good deal of street photography and candid shots of people. I enjoy finding unexpected and unusual compositions as well as minimalist and abstract compositions. For me, emotion and story are the most important elements of a photograph. Black and white photography is challenging for many people. My goal with this presentation is to help you improve your black and white photography by identifying situations where black and white works well. I will also do a brief demonstration on how to process a black and white image in Lightroom.”
The Learn in a Flash – 40-minute Session will be followed by our Sharing and Discussion segment. Upload images to the new website that Travis has developed, and we will show them on the large TV screen. The theme for the May meeting is an open theme- Anything Goes!
Also, starting in May is our NEW Focus of the Month. This is for club members to photograph a specific subject each month. It’s a great way to learn and have fun. For the June meeting, the Focus is SPRING. Upload your images that tell your story of “SPRING” to the appropriate album on the website. Click Here.
All of the monthly Photo Assignments are listed on the website so you can look ahead to each month.
