Leo Reinhard is an emerging NH-based sculptor. His sculptures feature playful kinetic elements and often feature found objects. His engineered works utilize copper and soldering methods to create geometric shapes and structures that weave around natural objects. Most of his sculpture involves moving parts, specifically steel marbles.  Each marble track is one of a kind and built from the top down.

Reinhard is a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen and is also involved in AVA Gallery. Originally from Switzerland, he has spent three years in Costa Rica and New York, and is currently based in NH. In addition to working with sculpture, the artist has studied biochemistry. The contrast of organic natural forms against precise geometric elements can be seen throughout his work. The artist will be demonstrating the process behind his kinetic sculptures, and the ideas that inform the works. The demo will offer a preview of Reinhard’s work that will be featured at the League of NH Craftmen’s Sunapee exhibition and contemporary craft fair.
