Olivia Janna Genereaux is a VT-based painter and educator. Genereaux’s watercolors, drawings and oil paintings are active, wonderfully surreal and evocative in their moods and narratives. Often, objects are anthropomorphized and placed in colorful spaces. The works celebrate color, mark-making, and are lively in their vibrancy. The artist will be demonstrating her process from her studio in White River Junction.

Genereaux attended Rhode Island School of Design, where she studied textiles and illustration, majored in painting, and graduated in 1986. In 2014, she earned a Master’s Degree from Lesley University, College of Art and Design.
