Gail Smuda is a NH-based book and fiber artist. Her work often focuses on the work and concerns of women and especially those of the period 1880 – 1930. She frequently uses photographs and materials from that era to support the content of her books. Smuda has been creating one of a kind books for the last several decades. Her work has been included in juried exhibitions in 48 states as well as Ireland and Australia.
