Fallon Rae: Found Forms

Fallon Rae will be discussing and demonstrating her approach to working with porcelain in both hand-building and wheel throwing. Recently she has started to introduce luminescent glazes. Since transitioning from painting to work predominately in ceramics, she will also discuss the importance of finding one's voice and which media can work best as a vehicle to express ideas.

Fallon Rae will be discussing and demonstrating her approach to working with porcelain in both hand-building and wheel throwing. Since transitioning her studio practice from painting to working predominately in ceramics, she will also discuss the importance of finding one’s voice and which media can work best serve a vehicle to express ideas. Recent works also include luminescent glazes.

Fallon is actively engaged in the artistic and music community, curating dozens of shows and music events, including SALON 2021 and 2022 at Kimball Jenkins School of Art and serving as co-owner of PILLAR Gallery + Projects. She has taught the Currier Museum of Art and Beech and Wilson Public School, and has organizes intendent educational events. Rae’s work can be seen across the region, including exhibitions at the Art Center Dover, Firehouse Gallery and other venues across the region.
