Group / School Visits

AVA Gallery and Art Center is a great place to bring your students, scouts, or peers to experience the arts. Our ever-changing exhibitions, diverse teaching studios and supplies, historic building, and flexible network of faculty and staff all can contribute to your successful trip.

School Groups

On multiple occasions, AVA has collaborated with local schools to develop interactive, half-day programs that dovetail with the visiting school’s curriculum. The uniquely creative experience we coordinate can make for one of the best fieldtrips of the year.

Daisies, Brownies and Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts

AVA is a great regional resource where your Scouts can readily earn badges in Art, Craft, Sculpture, and Sustainability, to name a few.

Civic Organizations

Visit AVA’s regularly changing exhibitions in our spacious galleries, check out the historical display of the Carter-Kelsey Building and learn about its life in textile manufacturing, or take a tour through our LEED Gold-certified green building to see contemporary sustainable architecture in practice. Our staff is available to guide you through the many things to see.

Please make arrangements for your group’s visit by email or phone, (603) 448-3117. Fees, if any, vary with the type of program scheduled.
