April 29, 2025(2 events) – Learn a new skill, rekindle a passion for what you already know, or get advice on repairing that favorite piece of clothing. Try stitchery, needle felting, art quilts, garment construction and repair, artful embellishment, and more! Bring a project or start something new. No experience is necessary, everyone is welcome! Though this is an Open Studio, there is some instruction on new techniques. Fiber Art Studio meets on Tuesdays from 9 am-12 pm. A new skill is demonstrated each week at 9:30. Due to Spring Camps, there will be no Fiber Art Studio on April 15, 2025. Fiber Arts is free, with a suggested donation of $5 a session for non-AVA members. AVA Gallery and Art center – AVA’s ArtReach program invites you to join artists live each week. ArtReach features live studio visits, artist demos, and exhibition tours. Get a glimpse into the creative minds of working artists as they take you through the art-making process – from beginning with a blank canvas or raw materials, through decisions about themes, media, color, technique, and other aspects of their approach. The program provides a behind-the-scenes look at contemporary studio practices. While an AVA instructor will facilitate the open studio, CAOS is not a drop-off program. Children and their caregivers are both invited to attend! AVA Gallery and Art center – ArtStop is a free after-school visual arts program designed for students in grades 5 through 8. Schedule:
