Meet the Interviewer
Sadie Mielcarz is a 2023 graduate of Lebanon High School. She is delighted to have received a LHS Common Good Grant funded by Gail and John Wasson allowing her the opportunity to be a summer intern at AVA Gallery. She will be attending Mount Holyoke College in the fall and will be majoring in Art History with a goal of one day pursuing a career in museums. She loves art and enjoys creating collages in her free time. Sadie enjoys music, plays saxophone, and sings, and has appeared in many Lebanon High School theater productions at Lebanon Opera House. A life-long resident of Lebanon, she has fond memories of attending summer camps and birthday parties at AVA. Her favorite artists include Faith Ringgold, Barbara Kruger, and Liza Lou. She believes that art is for everyone and should be accessible to all people.
