Artist Statement:

I have always loved a good story. And I have always been willing to suspend my disbelief for a compelling tale. My goal as an artist is for others to feel the same absorption and transportation when they view my images.

I am drawn to photography as a medium because of the myriad ways it allows me to express the narratives I envision. A camera can capture reality in its exactitude, or it can be used to conjure any scenario an individual dares to imagine.

I feel passionate about exploring the historical processes of photography’s past, and love to pair these techniques with the technologies available to us today.
