New Hampshire self-taught sculptor Heather A. Szczepiorkowski (Shep-or-kof-ski) has a passion for portraiture and recreating the human figure. Since 2001, Heather has sought to capture the essence of the model, whether in workshops or in her own studio. Lately, she has expanded her gaze to include modeling the gorgeous architecture of flowers and other structures in nature. Recent exhibitions of her work include AVA’s Shadowing Alfred: An AVA Dog Show and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club’s annual showcase of women artists. Creating art is a calling for Heather, which her husband Zbyszek has bolstered over many years.
