Jake’s Coffee Company provided AVA with a batch of eco-friendly coffee hot-sleeves – and our artists did the rest! Using a combination of the drawing and printmaking techniques they learned in our summer art camps and classes, participants ages 5-25 fancifully ornamented the cardboard sleeves with their playful perspectives.

The decorated coffee clutches were then returned to Jake’s, where they were freely distributed to customers who came in for a cup of coffee and who, beyond the beverage they sought, received a spontaneous gift of art made by and for the community.
