Internships

For more than a decade, AVA's year-round internship program has added tremendously to the quality of our programs. For a modest compensation, high-school and college students --most of them aiming for a career in art, art education, arts administration, or social work -- assist with our exhibitions or serve as teachers' aids in the art camps for children. They also help maintain our spaces and perform a variety of administrative tasks. As they garner invaluable work experiences and insights that help inform their future career choices, their enthusiasm, talent, youth and energy are a boost to us all.
