Please Support AVA’s 2016-17 Annual Fund Drive!
There is great anticipation in the air at AVA these days! Our gorgeous, new Sculptural Studies Building is at last set to open its doors, expanding our art programming with exciting new offerings, and AVA’s new executive director, Trip Anderson, is eager to begin building on the solid foundations that our nonprofit visual arts organization has established over the years in the Upper Valley community.
Remaining a constant, and at the heart of it all, is our ongoing commitment to create opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to engage deeply and meaningfully with art, whether as an artist, art appreciator, student, teacher, camp assistant, intern, volunteer, or as an AVA member and supporter. We continually strive to make art accessible to all through free or low-cost community spirited offerings, such as CAOS (Community Arts Open Studio), ART STOP!—the popular, weekly after-school program for teens— and Senior Art, as well as through our scholarship program (last year, 45 children and 16 adults received full or partial tuition support). Moreover, our exhibitions, opening receptions, gallery talks and films are free and open to the public. AVA fosters creativity and a sense of community through the making of art, the appreciation of art, and encounters with individuals of all ages and experience.
We hope that you will support our mission to offer art programs that enrich lives by making a contribution to AVA’s 2016-2017 Annual Fund Drive. It is in AVA’s multi-faceted, inclusive and imaginative programming where the impact of your Annual Fund contribution will be felt the most. All donations to the Annual Fund provide vital, unrestricted dollars for our operating budget in support of programs.
Your fully tax-deductible donation will help strengthen and sustain us; in turn, your community will continue to be strengthened by all that AVA is and does. The rich palette of creative opportunities that we offer depends, to a great extent, on the generosity of friends like you. Thank you for your valued support. Your contribution truly makes a difference!
